Message from CEO
Konoike AirPort Service Co., Ltd. (KAPS) was established as a 100% subsidiary of Konoike Transport Co.,Ltd., which has over 100 years and several decades of experience in the logistics and contracting services industries in Japan. KAPS started airport ground handling services from the opening of Kansai International Airport (1994). We began business in Tokyo with the expansion and re-internationalization (in 2010) of Tokyo International Airport (Haneda). Further, we expanded our business nationwide, to Narita, Fukuoka, Osaka (Itami), and Kobe .
Our primary job is providing high-skilled support services in response to the needs of our client airlines. It is our intention to continue to provide ever greater services and strive to go beyond expectations, and contribute to both our clients and society.
Airports in Japan will undergo massive changes in the next several years. As passengers and cargo demand grows, it is expected that the capacity of Haneda, Narita and Fukuoka will be expanded. The 2025 Osaka-Kansai Japan Expo awaits us after the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics. The government's policy is expected to bring ever greater numbers of tourists from foreign countries.
We believe that we can turn these changes and challanges into opportunities for our new success and further growth in the future.
Expect great thigs from KAPS!
Chief Executive Officer: Kazuyuki Iwakata
